Entrepreneurs and Innovators NEXGEN Residential Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION: Entrepreneurs and Innovators NEXGEN Residential Summer Camp at NC A&T is designed to be a fun, interactive, engaging experience for high school students. Participants will (1) learn how to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, (2) learn how to discover problems and identify needs in the market, and (3) present a pitch based on a business idea they develop. The week-long residential camp will include field trips and discussions with entrepreneurs and other support service professionals. Also, participants will be exposed to critical thinking and communication skills needed to be successful in business and life. Of course, other fun activities will be held, like Movie Night and Karaoke Night!

APPLICATION DEADLINE:
Friday, April 4, 2025 (An acceptance email will be sent no later than April 25, 2025).

COST:
Total: $500, with $50 required at registration (refunded if not chosen for the camp), and the remaining balance due within 2 weeks before the start of camp.
REQUIREMENTS:
Rising high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a 2.8 GPA or higher (student will be added to a waitlist if GPA is under 2.8). Report card displaying the GPA.

A&T’s Theatre Arts Summer Camp, every day is an exciting adventure packed with fun activities designed to unleash your creativity and build your confidence on stage and behind the scenes.
Learn the art of acting, master improvisation, create stunning costumes and crafts, move to the beat with dynamic choreography, and find your voice as a performer. Throughout the week, you’ll work with talented instructors and students who will guide you in exploring all aspects of theater.
The grand finale? A spectacular performance on Friday where you’ll take center stage and share your incredible journey with family and friends. Don’t miss this opportunity to discover the magic of theater and make memories that will last a lifetime. Spots fill up quickly—register today and let the show begin!

A $100 nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit will be put towards the registration fee. Location: NC A&T’s General Classroom Building (601 N. Benbow Road, Greensboro, NC).
Lunch is provided at Williams Cafeteria.
Note: Parents/guardians can pay an additional late fee pickup charge of $50 and pick up campers by 6:00 pm. Parents/guardians arriving after 6:00 pm will be charged $2.50 per minute.

Parking lot 13 is available for limited parking. Please remember parking permits are required to park on campus for an extended time. Please do not park in reserved or handicapped spaces unless you have a handicap permit.
Note: Minors cannot be unaccompanied on North Carolina A&T’s campus. Parents must accompany minors to the classroom and sign in the camper. If a parent/guardian does not accompany the camper to class, the parent/guardian will be called and dismissed from the program, and no refund will be issued.
Students will embark on an exciting journey into the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) through engaging hands-on activities and immersive project-based learning. Students will be able to explore through tinkering, delve into engineering concepts, construct prototypes, and unleash their boundless creativity within an enjoyable environment.
