During the 5-day residential summer camp, participants will receive comprehensive instruction in the fundamentals of technology and business analytics, along with insights into their real-world applications within a business context. Our approach to learning will encompass a well-rounded and practical experience, integrating a variety of social and engaging activities. The program will offer a blend of learning modalities, combining educational and interactive elements. These activities may include:
Educational Components: The summer camp's daily activities features hands-on data analytics training, an entrepreneurship workshop, and empowerment sessions aimed at enhancing students' skills and knowledge. Panel Discussions: To provide valuable insights and inspiration, we host panel discussions featuring recent alumni who will share their college experiences and offer tips on achieving success both in higher education and as they prepare for the challenges of the real world. Social Activities: Students will have the opportunity to enjoy recreational outings, including visits to Sparetime Bowling, a trip to the International Civil Rights Museum, and a semi-formal banquet dinner. This multifaceted approach ensures a holistic learning experience that combines technical knowledge, practical skills, and personal growth opportunities for all participants. DATES: June 15-20, 2025 APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 1, 2025 (Preference is given to early applications.) Acceptance is on a rolling basis starting February 28, 2025. Students will embark on an exciting journey into the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) through engaging hands-on activities and immersive project-based learning. Students will be able to explore through tinkering, delve into engineering concepts, construct prototypes, and unleash their boundless creativity within an enjoyable environment.
Dates: June 23-27, 2025 Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm Grades: Rising 3rd-5th Grade Arrival: 8:00 am (arriving before 8 am is not permitted) Drop off is at McNair Hall Depart: 5:00 pm Camp Fee: $220. A $100 nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit will be put towards the registration fee. Location: NC A&T, McNair Hall, Room TBA Note: Parents/Guardians can pay an additional late fee pickup charge of $50 and pick up campers by 6:00 pm. Arriving Late (after 8:10 am):
Note: Minors cannot be unaccompanied on North Carolina A&T's campus. Parents must accompany minors tot he classroom and sign in the camper. If a parent/guardian does not accompany the camper to class, the parent/guardian will be called and dismissed from the program, and no refund will be issued. Get ready for Med Camp—a fun and exciting adventure for middle and high school students dreaming of a future in medicine or healthcare! You’ll hear inspiring talks from real healthcare pros, dive into hands-on training labs, and team up for cool group projects and discussions. Oh, and did we mention? You’ll walk away CPR-certified, too!
Dates: July 7-11, 2025 Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm Grades: Rising 8th-11th Grade Arrival: 8:00 am (arriving before 8 am is not permitted) Drop off is at Noble Hall Depart: 5:00 pm Camp Fee: $275. A $100 nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit will be put towards the registration fee. Location: NC A&T, Noble Hall & Hines Hall, Room TBA Note: Parents/Guardians can pay an additional late fee pickup charge of $50 and pick up campers by 6:00 pm. Arriving Late (after 8:10 am): Continue to the camp classroom and sign in your camper. Please remember parking permits are required to park on campus for an extended time.
