The Ronald E. McNair 15th Research Symposium and Graduate Fair
 

The Ronald E. McNair 15th Research Symposium and Graduate Fair will be held Jan. 24-26, 2025, at North Carolina A&T State University. The research symposium and graduate fair allow undergraduate and graduate students from around the country to present research in oral and poster exhibitions. The commemorative weekend will also include a graduate fair, graduate school panel discussion, and a special McNair historical exhibit showcasing highlights of Dr. McNair as an undergraduate student here on the campus of NC A&T SU. Participants will be able to attend a graduate fair and network with the graduate representatives. In addition to attending a graduate school and a campus tour on Friday, January 24, 2025. Participates may select either the two-day or three-day conference registration option. 

Registration Fees:

  • Early Bird Registration (2 Day Conference): $300 - Deadline: 1/3/2025
  • Early Bird Registration (3 Day Conference): $375 - Deadline: 1/3/2025
  • Regular Registration (2 Day Conference): $350 - Deadline:1/17/2025

During the 5-day residential summer camp, participants will receive comprehensive instruction in the fundamentals of technology and business analytics, along with insights into their real-world applications within a business context. Our approach to learning will encompass a well-rounded and practical experience, integrating a variety of social and engaging activities. The program will offer a blend of learning modalities, combining educational and interactive elements. These activities may include:

Educational Components: The summer camp's daily activities features hands-on data analytics training, an entrepreneurship workshop, and empowerment sessions aimed at enhancing students' skills and knowledge.

Panel Discussions: To provide valuable insights and inspiration, we host panel discussions featuring recent alumni who will share their college experiences and offer tips on achieving success both in higher education and as they prepare for the challenges of the real world.

Entrepreneurs and Innovators - NEXGEN Residential Summer Camp

DESCRIPTION: Entrepreneurs and Innovators – NEXGEN Residential Summer Camp at NC A&T is designed to be a fun, interactive, engaging experience for high school students. Participants will (1) learn how to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, (2) learn how to discover problems and identify needs in the market, and (3) present a pitch based on a business idea they develop. The week-long residential camp will include a couple of field trips and discussions with entrepreneurs and other support service professionals. Also, participants will be exposed to critical thinking and communication skills needed to be successful in business and life. Of course, other fun activities will be had like Movie Night and Karaoke Night!

Professional Accounting Careers Exploration (PACE) Program Registration
 
Join us this summer for an unforgettable experience at the PACE (Professional Accounting Career Exploration) Program on the North Carolina A&T State University campus!

We welcome applications from all rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors. We strongly encourage students from first generation and/or racially or ethnically diverse communities, who are interested in pursuing a career in accounting, to apply for this free
residential summer camp. Hosted by N.C. A&T’s Department of Accounting and Finance on June 22-27, 2025, PACE offers a unique opportunity for students to
gain hands-on experience and explore the accounting
profession in a fun and interactive way.

The Professional Accounting Career Exploration (PACE) Program will provide a deeper understanding of careers in accounting and business. Participants will attend workshops and seminars led by industry professionals and participate in team-building activities. They will perform hands-on activities related to accounting and business. Participants will also visit an accounting firm and experience a day in the life of industry professionals.

A&T’s Theatre Arts Summer Camp, every day is an exciting adventure packed with fun activities designed to unleash your creativity and build your confidence on stage and behind the scenes.

Learn the art of acting, master improvisation, create stunning costumes and crafts, move to the beat with dynamic choreography, and find your voice as a performer. Throughout the week, you’ll work with talented instructors and students who will guide you in exploring all aspects of theater.

The grand finale? A spectacular performance on Friday where you’ll take center stage and share your incredible journey with family and friends. Note: Parents/guardians can pay an additional late fee pickup charge of $50 and pick up campers by 6:00 pm. Parents/guardians arriving after 6:00 pm will be charged $2.50 per minute.

  • Continue to the camp classroom and sign in your camper.
  • Parking lot 13 is available for limited parking. Please remember parking permits are required to park on campus for an extended time.  Please do not park in reserved or handicapped spaces unless you have a handicap permit.
